The Bumbo

Today Mallory had a great time sitting in the Bumbo. She was so happy and proud of herself to be sitting up on her own without having myself or Daddy holding her up. It is so hard to believe just a few short months ago she was still in my tummy waiting to be born.

A Beautiful Day for a Walk & BBQ

Last weekend, we had a gorgeous day on Saturday, full of sunshine, walks, ice cream, and of course, a BBQ. Aunt Kelly came into Columbus and stayed Saturday night and Aunt Lori, Uncle Mike, & Ivan cam by for our BBQ. It was such a great sunny day. I think the highlight of the day, though was my awesome find at the hardware store in downtown Worthington when we went on our walk. I am not the proud owner of a new Sunggie. Awesome. I don't have a picture of the Snuggie, but I do have some good pics to share of the day and evening.

Mallory's first Easter

For Easter brunch we went to Champps and who was there, but the Easter Bunny! You can just see the excitement in Mallory's eyes...
After Brunch we went to Great Grandma Morley's house for a quick visit. It was a beautiful day for pictures out front.
Aunt Erin & Uncle Todd stopped by on their way out of town to say goodbye to Mallory.
I don't really know what this is about, so don't ask.
Grandpa Sachs with Mallory at Brunch. He had no problem calming her down when she was cranky.
Michelle, Anna, & Jill joined us while we got some great pictures. I just hope for more beautiful days in the near future.

All in all, Mallory had a very busy, very eventful first Easter. Happy Easter!

Excersaucer to the rescue!

It has become very apparent that Mallory wants to stand. She has not mastered the art of rolling over, sitting up on her own, or even crawling, but she seems to think that she doesn't need these milestones, she can skip right on to standing. Mallory loves to be upright and to be held in the standing position. Unfortunately, ones arms can get pretty tired holding an infant in this position all day. Therefore, Miss Kristy the sitter, decided to try Mallory out in the excersaucer. The result? Pure love and enjoyment. So, Marc and I had no choice but to go out and purchase an excersaucer. Here are some pictures of Mallory enjoying her newest toy (and permanent fixture to our living room).

Easter at Miss Kristy's

Last week Mallory had her first experience coloring Easter Eggs at her sitter, Miss Kristy's house. She had a fabulous time, and even brought some eggs home to mommy. I know, a 3 month old coloring eggs...impressive. Anyways, Miss Kristy also took some Easter/spring pictures of Mallory that I just had to share. I was laughing so hard when I saw them, I had tears. If I am ever having a bad day, all I have to do is look at the flower picture and it will set the tone for a good day.

Happy Birthday Uncle Dan!

On April 6th, Uncle Dan celebrated his birthday and came over for dinner. Except, he cooked. He wanted to, I did offer, I swear. So, he got to play with Mallory a little before bed time and she enjoyed every second of it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE DAN!

Visit to Grandma & Grandpa Preston's

Here is the best out of 200 pictures we took with the new camera using the tiny remote control that activates the camera. Poor Ivan. He did so well considering we made him stay for so many pictures!!
Little Mallory was a little cranky when the cool wind hit her just right. I just had to post this picture, I thought it was too cute.

One of my favorite pictures of Ivan we have. It is hard to catch a good picture of this little boy and I just think this one is adorable!

What a happy boy!

Cohen's First Birthday

The Birthday Boy was so happy and good on his birthday. Here he is clapping along with mommy with a smile that never seemed to leave.
Older brother Cohl was excited for Cohen and excited about the Thomas the Train Tatoo's!
Mallory was pretty tired and had to nap when we first got there, but she woke up in time to sing Happy Birthday to Cohen.
Proud Mommy with Cohen. Happy Birthday Cohen!!!

Happy Birthday Aunt Erin!!

Mallory was very happy to be able to help Aunt Erin celebrate her birthday last weekend (April 4th). Erin and Todd made the trip home and the whole family went out to dinner at Spagio to celebrate. Our reservations were at 7:00 which means that Mallory got to stay up late. She was very well behaved at the restaurant, but was quite tired. However, by the time we got home and put her in her crib for bed, it was time to smile, laugh, talk, and play. Needless to say, her schedule was just a little off the next two days. It was all worth it though. Happy Birthday Aunt Erin!!!
