Bubble Bath

Best part of bath time? BUBBLES! We recently started adding bubble bath to Mallory's bath and the fascination she has with it is hilarious. Every time we walk into the bathroom she exclaims "mommy, WOW....bubbas!" Oh how I wish that a bubble bath would take me by surprise the way that it does her.

Her favorite part is scooping them up in her hand and then blowing them as hard as she can so they scatter across the tub, on to mommy, and most likely on to the floor. Always looking forward to bath night and the wet clothes that inevitably come with it.

Apple Picking 2010

Fall is here and with it come apples and therefore, apple picking. Mallory was much more into it this year, especially the part where she got to pick the apple from the tree and bite right into it.

Fall is such a beautiful time of year - my favorite season. The colors changing on the trees, breaking out jeans and sweatshirts, feeling the brisk, cool air...I love it all. It seems that apple picking has become a tradition, and we enjoy it so much we will have to keep up with it annually.

Ivan was there and was very into picking the apples. Mallory preferred to just carry them in the bag (or should I say, drag them in the bag). She became quite upset when the bag was too heavy for her to carry and mommy had to carry it for her. Even Everett made his way out for apple picking and he seemed to enjoy himself as well. He had a the best seat in the house just watching Mallory and Ivan trot along to pick more apples...
