Bouncing Around the Room

This, my friends is hands down, the best toy ever. For a baby like Mallory, who constantly wants to be standing and bouncing, the Jumperoo is awesome. We decided to break it out last week and try it out. Now, every day when I get home from work, Mallory will hang out in her jumper while I cook dinner. She is constantly shuffling her feet, turning in circles, and bouncing. When I am making dinner, she hangs out in the doorway that leads into the kitchen. This presents a slight problem for the dogs. When I am cooking, they want to be in the kitchen with me in hopes of snagging some table scraps, but they can't quite figure out how to get into the kitchen with a baby hanging in the doorway. It is incredibly amusing to watch them try to get through. The best part is, they can just walk through the dining room and get in the other side. That, however, would be way too easy. The other plus side to these dumb but lovable dogs, is that when Mallory is in the Jumper she is on their level and can see them very well. Every time they walk into the room, she explodes with laughter. She thinks they are the funniest things on Earth. Hairy little people.

Mallory also went to her 4 month appointment last Wednesday (even though she turned 5 months yesterday) and had a great appointment. She was in the 95th percentile for height at 26 and a quarter inches, 60th percentile in weight at 14.9 lbs, and she has a large noggin and is in the 80th percentile in head circumference!
